IN THIS ARTICLE:
While stitching together a 1x3 panorama of a waterfall in Yellowstone National Park, I found that I did not have the exposure locked for the bottom photo (refer to Picture 1) resulting in some obvious brightness inconsistencies.
Picture 2 shows the results of stitching the panorama in PTGui and cropping in Photoshop. It is obvious that the exposure difference in the third photo was an issue that is not going to be corrected by the automatic color correction feature in PTGui.
